Description
This course is specifically designed for graduate students who are engaged in research within biology or biodiversity-related fields. It focuses on developing essential academic and research skills required for successful graduate-level study and scientific work. The course content covers a wide range of topics, including how to read and interpret scientific literature, identify and refine research topics, and understand the design and logical structure of experiments. Students are also trained in organizing and presenting research findings effectively through figures and tables. In addition, the course introduces key aspects of scientific ethics and professional presentation skills, ensuring that students develop both technical competence and academic integrity. It further extends to practical guidance on writing a research proposal for their thesis.
