To ensure the course contents fit students from diverse backgrounds, we will first lead students to understand how we study biodiversity and how scientists quantify biodiversity. Then, we will focus on the concepts of conservation biology and how to resolve the conflicts between human development and biodiversity. In addition to lectures, we will also host discussions on existing cases and policy making.
