Description
The Biodiversity Workshop provides a unique interdisciplinary learning experience aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and the relationship between humans and nature. The workshop combines classroom learning, museum visits, scientific exhibitions, research institution tours, and field-based biodiversity surveys to expose students to different dimensions of biodiversity. Through visits to the NTU Green Health Center, NTU Museum of Zoology, National Taiwan Science Education Center, Yangmingshan National Park, Academia Sinica South Campus, and Hwa-Lin Experimental Forest, participants gain valuable insights into biodiversity conservation, environmental research, technological innovation, and ecological observation. The workshop also encourages students to critically reflect on how biodiversity contributes to human well-being, scientific advancement, and sustainable development.
