Description
** The course is primarily conducted in English, while field visits are mainly conducted in Chinese. Students who are able to understand Chinese are recommended to enroll in this course. 課堂以英文授課為主,田野參訪以中文授課為主,建議能聽懂中文者選修較佳。

This course focuses on the practical connection between community development and renaissance and community conservation: through reading relevant community conservation literature, students will have an overall and systematic understanding of the discourse of community conservation; in addition, it will start from the aspect of community development and renaissance and visit the community on site. Therefore, course students can go deep into the context of the community, thereby understanding the differences in the purposes and orientations of community development and renaissance and community conservation, and in subsequent learning and research, they can grasp the key point of community based on community conservation.
