This course will be mainly taken during summer vacation, and will go to Guyan Zhuoyun Plant Conservation Center in Pingtung for intensive classes.

Description
# Students are required to intern at the Dr. Cecilia Koo Botanic Conservation Center (KBCC) during the winter break. Please submit your internship plan and obtain the instructor's approval before selecting courses.
In this course, students will intensively spend the summer vacation / or winter vacation in the Botanical Garden of the Guyan Zhuoyun Plant Conservation Center, and participate in the on-site live preservation strategy of tropical plants with experts; and through the flower production and marketing class during the course, visits to the industry flower garden to understand the management policy of species.

More introduction
Students participating in this course will be able to actually participate in the conservation of important tropical plants, gain the ability to recognize and identify the main taxa of tropical plants, practice the cultivation and management of caring plants, observe and compare the similarities and differences of different tropical plant growth environments, and participate in native species conservation projects.
In the future, students who take the course will be able to apply these methods, technologies and concepts in practice, and invest in the research and development of plant cultivation technology in the industry or apply them to research topics in species conservation.
