Techniques for Assessing Plant Diversity
Open in Fall, 2023 (112-1)
The course design is to encourage student to assess basic botanical techniques such as conducting pollination experiments, plant reproductive system examination, plant propagation methods, micropropagation and microdissection techniques.
These techniques are basic to researchers who aims to describe plant morphology, practice on plant breeding, measuring growth and plant development, as well as cultivating major green plant lineages. This course is therefore an essential option for students who intend to apply these techniques for assessing plant diversity.
